Courage I

Courage meets the truthful heart,
And beauty does the same.
Yet truth lies hidden in the world,
For us to seek and claim.
The world we meet we bring within
To seek the Christ who speaks,
Within our pristine being,
A flame of the truth we seek.
And this with children we seek to share
That they do see the beauty of the truth
With courage of their being.

St. John's Tide

Prepared to meet the world stood John
The voice in the wilderness
Yet he saw like no other man
The future of humanity.
That one day the Christ would live
In every human being,
And will the world with His sunlit spirit.
May we have the strength and vision of John
To see the same spirit in the children and people we meet.
